Maidstone Pubs – highly rated – The Redstart Inn
Barming has some of the best Maidstone Pubs, and we feel that the Redstart Inn is the best. Here is a map to help you find it. If you walk through the front gates of our apartment, turn right down St Andrews Road, cross over on to Health Road, and walk to the end and then turn left, your will find the Redstart. Only a brisk 15 minute walk at most.
As Maidstone Pubs go (or Barming pubs strictly speaking) The Redstart Inn is a local favorite, and has in recent years undergone a transformation in to not only offering a convivial atmosphere, but also offering great food. We have been going there for years and it has a loyal group of regulars as well as lunch groups and other events, such as the occasional party and Christmas dinner offerings.
Most of the Tripadvisor reviews rate the Restart as being excellent.
It features:
- pre-bookable tables
- a great menu of more traditional restaurant food as well as pub favorites and ‘lite bites’
- a large garden with a paved sitting area, bouncy castle and ample facilities
- at our last visit it was dog friendly (sorry that our apartment isn’t 🙂 )
